Unfortunate. I have studied pathetic individuals like this in my profession. My theory is that he has basically been a failure at most everything he has attempted, his accomplishments (or lack of) compared to those of his father, grandfather, and perhaps siblings, and is looked upon as the disappointment of the family. He apparently lacks the tools or intelligence to perform so he resorts to this type of behavior. Typically this inability to perform will also manifest itself physically, making it difficult for him to succeed in other endeavors such as sports or other more personal activities. My guess is that the only reason he’s not pushing a grocery cart full of crap around some city is because his father has intervened and gotten him into positions he neither deserved nor was qualified for.

Chris, Sandra's son lived in a house rent free that Ray arranged for him. Many of my siblings visited Sandra weekly and met Chris who was extremely abusive to his mother.
